Trainee Software Engineer – Client Solution Engineering (CSE) Team

Guidehouse is looking for enthusiastic Trainee Software Engineers to join the Client Solution Engineering (CSE) Team in Trivandrum. As part of the CSE team, you will design, develop, and implement innovative solutions across full-stack product/platform development, application integration, DevOps, AI/ML, and automation. This role offers hands-on experience in cloud computing, DevOps practices, AI-driven analytics, and enterprise software development. Key Responsibilities Assist in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions (full-stack, integration, automation) Contribute to reusable components, common structures, and shared services across projects Support senior engineers in architectural reviews and technical decision-making Create and maintain technical documentation, scripts, and presentations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and deliver scalable solutions Participate in technical triaging, rapid problem management, and troubleshooting of complex issues Engage in learning sessions, training programs, and knowledge-sharing activities Take initiative to identify process improvement and automation opportunities Exhibit leadership mindset and support peers in a collaborative environment Required Skills & Qualifications BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field from a premier institute Basic understanding of programming languages: JavaScript, C#, Python, SQL, TypeScript Familiarity with web development frameworks: React, Angular, Blazor, or Vue.js Knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform Understanding of containerization technologies: Docker Basic knowledge of database management: MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and business process analysis Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices concepts, and DevOps practices Basic understanding of security best practices in software development Experience with version control systems (Git) Intermediate Excel and basic data analysis skills Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated leadership potential, positive attitude, and collaborative mindset Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools
