Role Description The Guest Services Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Karma Tashi in Dharamsala, focused on delivering a welcoming and memorable experience to all guests. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests upon arrival, managing check-in and check-out processes, and responding promptly to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via email. The role involves coordinating reservations and bookings, supporting front desk operations, and liaising with other resort teams to ensure seamless service. The Guest Services Associate will handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism, maintain accurate records and reports, and uphold Karma Group’s standards of luxury hospitality at all times. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required to support continuous guest service.
Qualifications
- Strong guest-facing experience with skills in Guest Services and Guest Service to create personalized, high-quality experiences.
- Proven Customer Service abilities, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a service-oriented attitude.
- Experience with Reservations, including managing bookings, room allocations, and coordination with relevant departments.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in hospitality or resort operations, preferably in luxury or boutique properties.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and reservation or property management software.
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and a collaborative mindset; additional language skills are an advantage.
