Role Description The Guest Services Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at IKAYI in Lucknow. This role is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing reservations, and coordinating seating to ensure a smooth flow of service. Day-to-day tasks include answering guest inquiries, guiding guests through menu options and specials, and supporting the service team to maintain a high standard of hospitality. The Guest Services Associate will handle phone and in-person bookings, address guest concerns promptly, and assist with coordinating special requests or events. The role requires close collaboration with the front-of-house team to create a welcoming, efficient, and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Strong Guest Services and Guest Service skills, with a focus on creating positive and memorable experiences.
- Proven Customer Service experience in hospitality or a similar guest-facing environment.
- Ability to manage Reservations efficiently, including phone, online, and walk-in bookings.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working on-site in a restaurant environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Collaborative team mindset and willingness to support colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation or POS systems is an advantage.
- Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
