Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean and service guest rooms as per hotel standards and daily assignment sheet.
- Make beds, change linen, and replace guest amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Ensure all fixtures, furniture, and equipment are clean and in proper condition.
- Report maintenance issues and lost & found items immediately.
Public Area Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, pantry areas, elevators, and public spaces.
- Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas remain organized and clean.
Guest Service
- Respond courteously to guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns.
- Maintain professional behavior and positive guest interaction at all times.
- Ensure privacy and security of guest belongings while cleaning rooms.
Operational Responsibilities
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and productivity targets.
- Properly use housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and cleaning materials.
- Refill housekeeping supplies and amenities as required.
- Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status updates.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and fire procedures.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely as per SOP and MSDS guidelines.
- Wear proper uniform and maintain grooming standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Higher Secondary / Graduate preferred.
- Basic housekeeping knowledge preferred.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is an advantage.
