Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Service Associate for our Food & Beverage outlet in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service that consistently exceeds guest expectations. You will work collaboratively with our team to maintain the highest standards of hospitality while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. - Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for their dining experience
- Provide attentive waiter service, taking orders accurately and delivering food and beverages in accordance with established service standards
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including composition, preparation methods, and accompaniments, to make informed recommendations to guests
- Set up and clear tables efficiently, ensuring proper placement of glassware, silverware, and linens according to restaurant policies
- Prepare and maintain dining areas and service stations to meet organizational standards and guest expectations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, following all cashiering procedures and policies
- Clean and polish glassware, silverware, and dining equipment, maintaining impeccable presentation standards
- Transport soiled dishes from the dining room to the kitchen, depositing them properly in designated steward areas
- Replenish supplies of linens, operating equipment, and other service materials as needed throughout shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, preparation areas, and service pantry during and after service
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction
- Work flexibly to accommodate fluctuations in guest numbers, special events, and varying service demands
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, management, and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and consistent service quality
- Maintain excellent personal grooming and professional appearance at all times
- Contribute to achieving departmental targets by adhering to procedures and participating in internal audits
- Organize work efficiently to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications
