Role Description The Guest Service Associate – F&B Service is a full-time, on-site role based at Niraamaya Retreats in Trivandrum. This role is responsible for delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service across restaurants, lounges, and in-room dining, ensuring a seamless guest experience. Daily responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking and processing orders, serving food and beverages, and handling guest queries or concerns in a professional manner. The role also involves maintaining hygienic and well-organized service areas, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, processing billing accurately, and adhering to brand standards and safety protocols. The Guest Service Associate contributes to creating memorable dining experiences that reflect Niraamaya’s focus on wellness, authenticity, and personalized hospitality.
Qualifications
- Strong guest-facing skills, including Guest Services and Guest Service experience in F&B or hospitality environments.
- Proven Customer Service abilities with a focus on responsiveness, courtesy, and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of Reservations processes for restaurant bookings and table management (preferred).
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, with comfort interacting with diverse guests.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service within hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants.
- Basic understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and POS/billing systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per operational requirements.
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- English proficiency required; additional regional or foreign languages are an advantage.
