Role Description The Guest Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves welcoming and assisting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay at Hostie properties. The Guest Relations Specialist will handle guest inquiries and feedback across multiple channels, coordinate with operations and housekeeping teams, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. The role includes supporting reservations and basic sales activities, sharing accurate information about properties and services, and maintaining detailed records of guest interactions. The Specialist is expected to uphold Hostie’s standards of hospitality, represent the brand with a friendly and professional demeanor, and contribute to a consistently high guest experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Guest Relations and Customer Service skills to welcome guests, address concerns, and ensure a comfortable stay.
- Excellent Communication abilities to interact clearly and courteously with guests, colleagues, and property partners.
- Experience in Customer Experience, with a focus on creating memorable stays and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Basic to intermediate Sales skills to support reservations, upsell services, and promote Hostie offerings.
- Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or serviced apartments is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a calm, professional approach under pressure.
- Proficiency with reservation systems, email, and basic office software; comfort using smartphones and messaging apps.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
