Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Guest Relations Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Chennai, located in Chennai. The Guest Relations Manager will ensure superior guest experiences by managing relationships with guests, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and delivering exceptional service. The role involves managing guest satisfaction, coordinating with various departments, and overseeing training to improve service standards and staff performance. The position requires close on-ground interaction with guests and team members to uphold Marriott's high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Guest Relations, focusing on building strong connections and creating positive guest experiences.
  • Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ability to manage Customer Satisfaction and ensure exceptional customer service delivery to uphold brand standards.
  • Experience in Training team members to deliver consistent and high-quality service.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in using hospitality management systems is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in a similar customer-facing role is highly desirable.
