What We Are Looking For

GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Internet Services Scheduler to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department and our organization. As an Internet Services Scheduler, you will help oversee the daily scheduling and routing of our Installation and Maintenance Technicians for both wireless and fiber.

 

Your Pay

The minimum starting pay for this role is $21.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience.

 

How You’ll Help

• Utilize multiple systems to troubleshoot and provide support
• Create and maintain the Internet Services installations and maintenance calendar   
• Provide escalated Internet troubleshooting 
• Triage Internet outages 
• Improve productivity by optimizing technicians’ daily routes and working closely with the dispatch and supervisor teams
• Work with contractors in a variety of capacities to assist with various stages of the fiber processes 
• Work to create and process service/work orders in a timely manner to achieve business plan goals as well as our members’ expectations
• Assist in working ISP Support Jira helpdesk tickets  

 

Experience/Skills You’ll Need

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and confidently

• Able to adapt to a constantly changing work environment and shift tasks throughout the day
• Team player willing to provide and receive constructive criticism that helps grow the team 
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and respond to changes quickly and efficiently 
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic 
• Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills 
• Flexibility with schedule

 

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Prior scheduling experience
