Job Description

As a Business Analyst / Project Manager of the Fintec API Business domain you will play a pivotal role in creating an API product marketplace within GTN. Your primary focus will be enhancing and developing business API’s, creating API products, API Documentation and incorporating the multi asset trading system business domain specifics to be outlined and delivered as part of the platform specifications. You will collaborate closely with our development and customer-facing teams to bridge the gap between business logic and technical implementation. Your insights and expertise will be crucial in guiding our clients through the integration process and optimizing our documentation, developing, and enhancing the API’s for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Business Analysis of API product and assist in customer delivery management.
• Enhance the clarity and comprehensiveness of GTN's API Documentation and workflows associated with the business domain.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to accurately represent business logic and functionality in technical documentation.
• Verification of API’s in accordance with the API specifications.
• Develop and design API products in facilitating of business API’s and simple and smooth integration process.
• Participate in customer calls to explain the business sense and logic behind API integration.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable language for clients of varying technical backgrounds.
• Continuously update and improve documentation based on customer feedback, industry trends, and evolving best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and priorities.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to track and manage project progress, update user stories, and ensure transparency.
• Maintain and update project-related documentation on Confluence, ensuring it is accessible and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the product owner and development team to prioritize and plan sprint backlogs.
• Participate in sprint planning sessions to provide insights into the scope and complexity of user stories.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science with exposure to financial domain, or a related field.
• Knowledge and understanding of API Management in a business domain.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the API or technology industry.
• Project Management and Delivery Management skills.
• Strong understanding of API concepts including REST principles, workflows, and technical documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments to gather and convey information.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and software used for technical writing.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and willingness to take ownership of projects.
