We are running paid acquisition at scale (mostly on Google Ads, smaller spend on Meta) and have a complex tracking setup that needs to be audited and simplified.
Current setup includes:
- Google Tag Manager (Web)
- GA4
- Google Ads conversion tracking (via GTM)
- Partial server-side GTM implementation
- Meta pixel + some server-side events
- Multiple GTM containers (web, iOS, Android, server-side)
We suspect:
- Possible duplicate conversions
- Inconsistent tracking across platforms
- Overly complex setup that may not be reliable
What we need (Phase 1 – Paid Audit):
We are looking for a measurement/tracking expert to:
- Map the full conversion flow for our primary event (booking / thank-you page)
- Identify any duplication or inconsistencies in tracking
- Check alignment between:
- Google Ads
- GA4
- Meta (Pixel / CAPI if applicable)
- Review current GTM (web + server-side if relevant)
- Clearly explain:
- What is happening in our setup today
- What is broken or unreliable
- Provide a clear, simplified action plan to fix the system
Important:
We are not looking for a generic report. We want a clear, practical explanation we can understand and act on.
Phase 2 (if Phase 1 goes well):
- Clean up and simplify GTM setup
- Fix tracking issues
- Ensure one clean conversion signal across platforms
- Improve reliability of data used for ad optimization
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong experience with GTM (web + server-side)
- Deep understanding of GA4
- Experience with Google Ads and Meta attribution
- Has worked on debugging and fixing messy tracking setups
- Can simplify systems (not over-engineer them)
Engagement Details:
- Phase 1: Fixed-price audit
- Timeline: ~3–5 days
- Phase 2: Additional work based on audit quality
