Translator

GTE Localize is currently looking for experienced Translators to join our team. As a Translator, you will be responsible for translating a wide range of content, including documents, websites, and multimedia files, from one language to another while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and quality. You will work closely with our project managers and linguistic experts to ensure that our clients' translation needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities: - Translate content from one language to another, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client requirements and style guides. - Proofread and edit translations to maintain high quality standards. - Communicate with project managers and clients to clarify instructions, address questions, and provide updates on project status. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, terminology, and best practices in translation. - Collaborate with the team to improve translation processes and workflows. Requirements: - Native-level proficiency in at least two languages, including one of the target languages. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both source and target languages. - Strong knowledge of translation tools and computer-assisted translation (CAT) software. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Demonstrated experience in professional translation, preferably in a business or technical context. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
