Senior Software Engineer, Backend

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join our growing engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems that power our enterprise-grade solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative products that drive business impact. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend systems and services - Implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms, including the use of databases, caching, and message queues - Optimize system performance, reliability, and security - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting - Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and standards - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning environment Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - Proficiency in one or more popular backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) - Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, and caching systems - Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and scalability techniques - Experience with containerization and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
