FOUNDING GROWTH LEAD (CONSUMER, HANDS-ON) | UONEX | Bengaluru, Onsite
UONEX is building the discovery layer for India's physical retail.
Less than 10% of Indian retail is online, yet that thin slice built Flipkart, Nykaa and a wall of billion-dollar companies. The other 90%, the physical stores where Indians actually shop, was never indexed or made discoverable. We are building that layer. Think of it as your whole city's retail, as software, with live store-level inventory down to size and colour.
We have already built deep, real integrations with leading retailers, live variant-level inventory across hundreds of stores. The supply engine works. Now we are turning on demand, and that is where you come in.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands-on Founding Growth Lead to own one thing: getting users in and keeping them coming back. This is not a strategy-deck role. You will ship content daily, run experiments weekly and live inside the numbers. You own the install and retention metric, full stop.
You will start with Bengaluru, our first demand market, and a young, trend-driven shopper who discovers fashion on Instagram and Reels.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- The demand number: installs, activation and coupon-free repeat usage
- Daily short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Stories) from concept to shoot to edit to post
- Creator and influencer partnerships, sourced and managed directly by you
- Fast growth experiments, measured honestly and killed quickly when they fail
- On-ground activation across Bengaluru tech parks, malls and metro hubs
WHAT WE NEED
- You have personally moved a consumer number before (installs, signups or retention) and can point to it
- You are hands-on with content. You can shoot and cut a Reel on your phone yourself, today, without an agency
- You are data-literate. You read a funnel, you do not guess
- You are scrappy, fast and own outcomes, not activity
- You understand the young Indian consumer and how they discover and buy
NICE TO HAVE
- Early-stage experience at a consumer app, D2C brand or marketplace
- A track record with creator-led growth
- An on-ground Bengaluru network in fashion, retail or campus communities
