Job details:
What We're Building
Kynetiq is building infrastructure for B2B inbound. Think of it as the operating system that runs growth for startups. We help B2B founders turn market signals into content, content into leads, and leads into revenue. Automatically.
We're at the very beginning. No corporate BS. No bureaucracy. Just a small team building something that doesn't exist yet.
What You'll Actually Do
You're not getting coffee or making slide decks. You're doing real work that matters.
Research & Intelligence
- Track what's happening in the Indian B2B startup ecosystem. Who raised funding? Who launched? Who's hiring for GTM roles? This intel feeds our outreach engine.
- Monitor competitor moves. What are other GTM tools doing? What are agencies selling? Where are the gaps?
- Build target lists. Identify 20-30 high-quality prospects per week using RocketReach, LinkedIn, and Crunchbase.
Preview Engine Operations
- Help generate personalized preview dashboards for prospects. You'll learn to use Claude, SEMRush, and our internal tools to show founders what their Kynetiq system would look like.
- Run the research that makes previews accurate. Extract keyword data, analyze competitor content, map out ICP profiles.
- Test and validate preview quality. Does the data look right? Are the signals relevant? Is the content pipeline realistic for that specific company?
Outreach & Messaging
- Write cold outreach (LinkedIn, email). We'll teach you what works. You'll test it. You'll see what converts.
- Track engagement. Who opened? Who clicked? Who replied? You'll learn to read signals and optimize based on real data.
- Help run follow-up sequences. The preview is just the start. Getting someone from "interesting" to "let's talk" is the game.
Product Testing & Feedback
- Use the product before customers do. Break things. Find edge cases. Tell us what doesn't make sense.
- Document what works and what doesn't. Which preview elements get the most attention? Which signals do founders care about most? Feed that back to product.
- Help validate our assumptions. We think founders care about X. Does the data prove it? You'll help us find out.
Learning the Stack
- You'll get hands-on with tools most interns never touch.
- You'll see how a B2B sales pipeline actually works. From cold outreach to closed deal. Most internships don't show you that.
Who This Is For
You're probably a good fit if:
- You're in your final year or recently graduated (any degree, we don't care about your major)
- You can write clearly. Not fancy. Just clear. If you've written blog posts, LinkedIn threads, or even good emails, that counts.
- You're curious about startups and GTM. You read TechCrunch or YourStory. You know what seed funding means. You want to understand how companies actually grow.
- You're comfortable with tools and tech. You can learn software quickly. You've used spreadsheets, LinkedIn, and you're not scared of APIs or dashboards.
- You want to build, not just execute. You care about why something works, not just doing what you're told.
Bonus points if:
- You've interned at a startup before
- You've written content online (blog, LinkedIn, Medium, Twitter)
- You know what Ahrefs, HubSpot, or Clay are
- You're active in startup communities (SaaSBoomi, YC Startup School, etc.)
This won't work if:
- You want a 9-to-6 internship where you do the same task every day
- You need a lot of structure and hand-holding
- You're just looking for an internship certificate and don't care what you learn
What You Get
Real Skills
- You'll learn B2B sales and growth in a way most people don't until 3-4 years into their career
- Hands-on experience with the best GTM tools (worth ₹2L+/month if you bought them yourself)
- How to write outreach that converts, how to read analytics, how to build a pipeline from scratch
Stipend
- ₹15K/month depending on experience and output
Conversion Path
- If you're good, this becomes a full-time role. Several early-stage startups have hired their best interns as founding GTM team members. That could be you.
Access
- You're working in a 2-3 person team. You see everything. Strategy, product decisions, customer conversations. No silos.
- You'll actually understand how a startup works, not just one department of a big company.
Portfolio
- By the end of 6 months, you'll have real work to show: outreach campaigns you ran, conversion data you improved, preview dashboards you built, product insights that shaped what we shipped.
How This Works
Commitment: 6 months, full-time (or 4-5 days/week if you're still in college).
Timeline:
- Month 1: Learn the tools, the ICP, the pitch. Shadow outreach. Build your first target lists.
- Month 2-3: Run preview generation and outreach independently. Hit 10-15 previews/week. Track what works.
- Month 4-6: Own a segment. Maybe you focus on fintech startups, or Surge alumni, or a specific vertical. You become the expert on that segment and drive pipeline there.
