Job details:
We're looking for a Growth Marketing Executive who lives and breathes esports.
If you follow competitive gaming, get gaming culture in your bones, make content that people actually stop scrolling for, and know how to turn a Discord server into a community — we want to talk.
This is a hands-on role at a fast-growing global esports platform. You won't be one voice in a 20-person marketing machine; you'll own how we show up online and have direct, visible impact on how fast we grow.
What you'll doYour core focus (most of your week):
- Create scroll-stopping short-form content — reels, shorts, videos, memes, carousels, posts
- Grow and run our communities, especially Discord and Reddit, plus Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Spot trends in esports and internet culture and turn them into content within hours, not days
- Run campaigns around tournaments and platform launches — from idea to posted
- Promote live tournaments, new features, and product updates in a way that feels native, not corporate
- Use AI tools to create faster without dropping quality
You'll also get into (as you grow into the role):
- Community building on Quora, Product Hunt, and Medium
- User-acquisition experiments and light paid campaigns (Meta / Google Ads)
- Working with our product and design teams on marketing initiatives
What we're looking for- Genuine passion for esports and competitive gaming — you already follow the tournaments and creators
- Strong grip on current gaming trends, memes, and internet culture
- Hands-on experience creating short-form video (Reels / Shorts) — shooting and editing
- Experience managing Discord and Reddit communities
- Sharp copywriting and storytelling
- Comfortable using AI tools to move fast — you've actually shipped work with them
- You own a laptop / PC and have stable internet
- Proactive, creative, and data-driven — you look at what worked and do more of it
AI tools you'll work withWe give you access to premium AI tooling. Familiarity with any of these is a plus:
- Text: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude
- Image: Midjourney / Flux
- Video: Runway, Veo, Kling
- Editing: CapCut AI
- …and whatever new tool drops next week — we expect you to try it
Bonus points- You've marketed a gaming or esports product before
- You know your way around influencer marketing
- You've run Meta Ads or Google Ads
- Graphic design skills
- A track record of growing online communities from scratch
- You're "lazy" in the best way — you'd rather automate a task than do it twice
What success looks likeIn your first ~6 months, we'd expect to see:
- Measurable growth in community size and engagement across our core channels (Discord, IG, X, YouTube)
- A steady output of short-form content, with a few pieces that genuinely popped
- Tournament and launch campaigns that drove sign-ups
- A repeatable, AI-assisted content workflow that makes us faster over time
(Swap in your own targets — e.g. follower/community growth %, engagement rate, or CAC once acquisition is live.)
What we provide- Access to premium AI tools
- A role in a fast-growing global esports startup
- Real freedom to experiment with new marketing ideas
- Direct, visible impact on product growth and community
Who you are- You understand Gen Z gaming culture from the inside
- You stay current on the latest tournaments and creators without trying
- You can turn a trend into content within hours
- You love building communities, not just posting into them
Sounds like you? Send your resume along with:
- Your portfolio
- Social accounts / communities you've managed
- Examples of content you've created
