We are currently onboarding a high-caliber Growth Marketer to lead a flagship initiative for a global smartphone and mobile device brand. Our client is launching a dedicated Community Application designed to drive peer-to-peer engagement, customer loyalty, and organic brand advocacy. If you are a master of product-led growth, community loops, and scaling user bases without relying on an advertising budget, this role is for you.
Role PurposeAs an Organic Growth Marketer, you will own the end-to-end user lifecycle of the mobile brand's new community app using a 100% organic strategy. Instead of "buying" users through paid ads, you will focus on engineering organic growth loops. You will maximize existing on-device hardware real estate, build viral word-of-mouth referral programs, and design gamified engagement loops to turn everyday smartphone owners into active community members and brand advocates.
Key Responsibilities- Organic Funnel Optimization: Own the full user lifecycle (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, and Referral) for the community application using strictly organic and product-led strategies.
- On-Device Acquisition Loops: Partner with the client’s product teams to leverage existing hardware touchpoints—such as embedding community invitations in the initial device setup wizard, native system utility apps, and contextual OS push notifications.
- Viral & Referral Engineering: Design and test member-get-member referral mechanics and organic network effects (e.g., unlocking exclusive software beta-test access by inviting friends to the platform).
- Gamification & Engagement: Build and optimize community contribution loops, setting up badge systems, reward points, and leaderboards to incentivize peer-to-peer tech support and high-quality User-Generated Content (UGC).
- SEO & Web-to-App Conversion: Optimize public community forum threads for search engines so users looking for troubleshooting tips or device customizations land on the community, using smart deep-linking web banners to seamlessly transition them into the app.
- Data Analysis & Tracking: Continuously monitor and report on product health and engagement KPIs—including Daily/Monthly Active Users (DAU/MAU), K-factor (virality coefficient), cohort retention, and user drop-off points—using tools like Mixpanel, Firebase, or Clevertap.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the global mobile brand’s Product Management, UX/UI, and Software Engineering teams to embed organic growth hooks directly into the core mobile operating system and app ecosystem.
Requirements & Qualifications- Experience: 3–6 years of experience in Growth Marketing, Product-Led Growth (PLG), or Mobile App Marketing with a heavy emphasis on organic acquisition, inbound strategies, or community building.
- Industry Context: Experience within consumer tech, mobile applications, smartphones, or gaming platforms is highly desirable.
- Growth Loop Mastery: Deep theoretical and practical understanding of how to build sustainable network effects, viral loops, and gamification frameworks.
- Data & Product Analytics: Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using mobile attribution and product analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, or Google Analytics).
- SEO & Inbound Knowledge: Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO), deep-linking infrastructure (e.g., Branch.io), and web-to-app SEO strategies.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to work effectively between agency teams and global corporate clients.
