ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are a lean, early-stage start-up with a growing product line and a clear vision to scale. With a core team of two freshers and an ambitious growth roadmap, we are looking for a sharp, hands-on Business Development Manager who can serve as the operational backbone of the business - working shoulder-to-shoulder with the Founders to drive real, measurable growth.
This is not a passive role. You will own the business outcomes across online and offline channels, mentor a young team, and bring the discipline, energy, and entrepreneurial thinking needed to build something meaningful from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Growth & Strategy
- Drive overall business growth and expansion strategy in close coordination with the Founders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Monitor key business KPIs and sales metrics; present regular performance insights to leadership
E-Commerce Channel Management
- Own and manage growth across Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, and emerging digital channels
- Coordinate with digital agencies, marketing partners, and platform consultants
- Optimize listings, campaigns, and channel performance for maximum ROI
Offline Sales & Distributor Network
- Expand offline presence through distributors, retail stores, doctors, and clinics
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners to drive distribution reach
- Lead market activations, events, and on-ground brand presence initiatives
Team Leadership & Operations
- Mentor and guide two junior team members; set goals, review outputs, and build their capabilities
- Lead internal coordination across operations, sales, and marketing functions
- Drive execution discipline - from planning to follow-through - across all business verticals
Must Have
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Business Development, Growth, or E-Commerce
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring junior team members
- Working knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and Shopify
- Strong ownership mindset - comfortable driving outcomes with limited resources
- Ability to work directly with Founders and thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
Good to Have
- Experience in offline sales, distributor network management, or trade channel development
- Background in Ayurveda, Healthcare, FMCG, or speciality consumer products
- Prior experience working in a startup or early-stage company
- Mumbai-based or willing to relocate
