About the role:
We're looking for a D2C supplement brand doing ₹50L/month across 6 channels. We're looking for a Growth Manager to own paid acquisition and growth execution — someone who can run Meta and Google campaigns hands-on, brief creatives intelligently, and help build the D2C channel into a significantly larger revenue stream.
This is an individual contributor role with high ownership. You'll work directly with the VP of Commerce on growth strategy and execute with a Content Manager alongside you. Marketplace growth (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto listing and ranking) is managed separately — your focus is brand acquisition through paid channels.
Specifically, this role will involve:
• Paid social: Own Meta (Facebook + Instagram) campaigns end-to-end — campaign structure, audience segmentation, creative testing, budget pacing, and ROAS optimisation. No agency hand-holding.
• Paid search: Google Search + Shopping for keywords. Keyword strategy, bidding, and landing page coordination with the Product team.
• Quick commerce ads: Blinkit and Zepto ad campaigns for SKUs specifically. Coordinate inventory readiness with Samarth (SCM) before any campaign launches — a stockout during a Blinkit campaign is the worst possible outcome.
• Creative briefing: Work with the Content Manager to brief and prioritise ad creatives. Communicate clearly what hooks, formats, and angles are performing — the creative team should never be guessing.
• Performance reporting: Weekly campaign dashboard for the VP of Commerce. Own CAC, ROAS, and new customer volume numbers. Flag risks before they become problems.
• Offer & promotion planning: Plan and execute sale events, bundle offers, and first-purchase incentives for D2C. Coordinate with Kritika (Retention) so acquisition offers align with the retention journey.
Ideal candidate will have:
• 3–5 years in performance marketing — D2C brand, consumer startup, or e-commerce brand strongly preferred. Agency background is acceptable only if you have brand-side accountability experience.
• Hands-on Meta Ads Manager proficiency — can build a campaign from scratch, structure audiences correctly, and diagnose why an ad set is underperforming
• Google Ads — Search + Shopping minimum. YouTube a plus.
• Has managed monthly ad budgets of ₹15L+ with real ROAS accountability
• Understands creative performance — hook rate, watch time, swipe-through rate. Can give specific, actionable feedback to a designer
• Analytical — comfortable in Google Sheets, can build a campaign tracker without being asked
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, and analytics is essential
• Candidates with proven hands-on experience in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and D2C growth may be
considered regardless of formal education
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
