Role Overview
We are looking for a business-oriented, detail-driven intern who understands sales funnels, lead generation, and research, and can leverage AI tools and automation to improve efficiency.
This is not a pure data entry role — this role sits at the intersection of sales, research, and technology, directly impacting how our sales team identifies and reaches potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales Research
- Identify and build high-quality B2B lead lists (HRs, decision-makers, institutions, etc.)
- Understand target customer profiles (ICP) and refine lead sourcing accordingly
- Use platforms like LinkedIn, company websites, and databases to extract relevant contacts
Data Intelligence & Qualification
- Validate and enrich leads with relevant details (role, company size, industry, etc.)
- Ensure data quality over quantity — focus on actionable leads
- Segment leads based on sales priorities
AI & Tools Utilization
- Use tools like ChatGPT, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Excel automations, etc.
- Explore ways to automate repetitive research and data workflows
- Suggest improvements to make lead generation faster and smarter
Sales Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Sales team to understand real-time requirements
- Provide insights from data to improve outreach strategies
- Support campaign-based lead generation efforts
Reporting & Insights
- Maintain structured databases and dashboards
- Track metrics like lead quality, conversion potential, and coverage
Who This Role is For
We are specifically looking for candidates who:
- Have interest or exposure to sales, business development, or marketing
- Understand what makes a “good lead” vs just data
- Are comfortable using or learning AI tools and automation
- Think process improvement > manual work
- Can connect research → business impact
Preferred Background
- Students from BBA, BMS, BCom, Marketing, Economics, or related fields
- OR candidates with hands-on experience in sales / lead generation (internships/projects)
(Note: Technical degrees are welcome only if the candidate demonstrates strong business + sales understanding)
Must-Have Skills
- Strong internet research & logical thinking
- Basic proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Familiarity with LinkedIn for research
- Good communication & structured thinking
- Curiosity to explore AI tools and productivity hacks
Bonus Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with lead generation tools (Apollo, Lusha, etc.)
- Exposure to CRM tools
- Basic understanding of sales funnels / B2B sales
