Job details:
Role Overview
This is not a typical Executive Assistant role where you manage calendars and book meeting rooms. As a Growth Associate, your primary focus will be on business development, partnerships, outreach, and operational coordination. You will work directly with the CEO to help open new revenue streams and ensure that day to day operations run smoothly across the organisation.
Think of this role as a mix of business development, operations management, and team coordination, all rolled into one. You will be handling partner outreach, corporate client engagement, campaign execution, event logistics, media coordination, and team task management. The CEO will rely on you to independently drive these areas forward so that the company's growth never slows down because of a lack of bandwidth.
If you are someone who enjoys taking ownership, talking to new people, managing multiple workstreams, and seeing your work directly impact the business, this is the role for you.
Who Should Apply?
This role is a great fit for you if you enjoy talking to new people and building professional relationships. You should be comfortable writing emails, making calls, and following up persistently until things get done. If you can manage multiple tasks at the same time without dropping any, this role will suit you well.
It is ideal for someone who likes working in a fast paced, small team environment where your work directly impacts the business. You should be comfortable using cloud tools and AI tools like ChatGPT, ClaudeAI, Genspark, and other to get things done faster. If you want a role where no two days look the same and you get to be involved in everything from partnerships to team management, this is the one.
Key Responsibility Areas
Partnership and Collaboration Outreach A significant part of your role will involve identifying and reaching out to potential partners across the financial ecosystem. This includes financial advisors, influencers, platforms, and media houses. You will be responsible for drafting outreach emails, following up systematically, maintaining a partnership pipeline, and scheduling calls between the CEO and interested parties. The goal is to take a partnership from the first point of contact all the way to closure.
Corporate Client Development You will research and identify companies that could benefit from our financial wellness offerings. This involves finding the right decision makers within organisations, preparing pitch materials, booking presentations for the CEO, and handling all follow up after meetings. You will manage the entire cycle from initial outreach to final onboarding.
Campaign Management You will own and manage outreach campaigns end to end. This includes maintaining contact databases, scheduling and coordinating virtual sessions, sending invitations and reminders, tracking attendance, following up with participants, and managing referral pipelines. The expectation is that you can run a campaign independently without the CEO needing to step in at every stage.
Event and Webinar Logistics Whenever the company hosts webinars, orientations, or live events, you will handle the complete logistics. This covers registration management, attendee communication, calendar coordination, reminders, post event follow ups, and reporting. You will also work with the marketing team to make sure the scheduling and promotion run smoothly.
Office and Task Management You will act as the office manager for the team. This means setting up and managing project management tools, creating task lists, assigning deadlines, following up on pending items, and preparing weekly completion reports for the CEO. Your job is to make sure nothing falls through the cracks and every team member delivers on time. You will also evaluate team performance and flag any bottlenecks.
PR and Media Relations You will support the company's public relations efforts by drafting press releases, preparing media pitches, and reaching out to relevant financial publications. This also includes coordinating interviews, managing media budgets when allocated, and tracking all coverage and mentions.
Day to Day Coordination Beyond the structured responsibilities, you will handle miscellaneous coordination across the team and with external parties as needed. This includes follow ups, scheduling, and any coordination that requires someone to connect multiple people or parties. This part of the role is dynamic and driven by the CEO's daily priorities.
How a Typical Week Looks Like for This Position
At the start of the week, you will review the task board, check what is pending from the previous week, and plan your priorities. Monday typically involves a pipeline review where you assess where each partnership and outreach effort stands and decide what needs immediate attention.
Through the middle of the week, you will be focused on execution. This means sending outreach emails, following up with people who have not responded, coordinating meetings and presentations for the CEO, working on campaign logistics, and updating project trackers. If there is an upcoming event or webinar, this is when the bulk of the coordination happens.
Towards the end of the week, you will shift to tracking and reporting. You will update the CRM, check on the team's task completion status, prepare the weekly report for the CEO, and flag anything that needs attention going into the next week. If there are media or PR tasks, you will use this time to draft pitches or follow up with publications.
Throughout the week, there will always be ad hoc tasks and coordination requests from the CEO that require quick turnaround. Flexibility and the ability to switch between tasks smoothly is key.
Requirements
Must Have Skills
Strong communication skills are essential. You should be able to write clear emails, pitch messages, and follow up notes on your own without needing someone to review everything.
You need to be outgoing and confident. This role involves reaching out to people you have never spoken to before, whether they are potential partners, corporate decision makers, or media contacts. Being hesitant or shy will hold you back.
Being organised and detail oriented is critical. You will be managing multiple campaigns, pipelines, and task lists at the same time, and nothing should slip.
You should be a team player with the ability to lead when needed. Part of your job is tracking the team's progress, making sure deadlines are met, and flagging issues before they become problems.
You must be comfortable with technology and willing to learn new tools quickly. Using AI tools like ChatGPT, Genspark, ClaudeAI to speed up your work (drafting emails, doing research, creating content) is expected, not optional.
Finally, you need to be proactive and self driven. If something needs to be done, you do it. You should not need to be reminded to follow up or close the loop on tasks.
Tools You Will Use Daily
Zoho Suite (Zoho Projects, Zoho CRM, Zoho Recruit) for project management, client tracking, and recruitment coordination. Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Drive) for day to day communication and collaboration. Zoom for scheduling and coordinating virtual meetings and webinars. ChatGPT and other AI tools for drafting emails, research, and content support. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) especially for pitch decks and proposals. Social media platforms like LinkedIn and X for outreach and PR coordination.
Benefits
What Does Success Look Like in This Role?
You are succeeding in this role when the outreach pipeline is always moving forward. New contacts are being added, follow ups are happening on time, and conversations are progressing towards outcomes.
Success means that presentations and meetings are being booked regularly and executed well, with all preparation and follow up handled without the CEO needing to get involved in the logistics.
Campaigns and events run smoothly from start to finish. Registrations, communication, and post event follow ups happen like clockwork because you own the process completely.
The team's tasks are tracked, deadlines are being met, and the weekly report is always ready on time. When something is stuck, you have already flagged it and proposed a solution.
The CEO's bandwidth is freed up because you are handling operations, outreach, and coordination independently. The less the CEO has to remind you or step in, the better you are doing.
Media and PR efforts are building momentum over time, with increasing coverage and visibility for the company.
