Summary As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a team of ETL developers actively involved in all phases of data projects. Candidates must be capable of managing multiple tasks and development efforts simultaneously, be self-starters, and take ideas through to implementation. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Experience 4+ years of professional development experience in data-related technologies Required Skills Advanced working SQL knowledge, including schema design Experience in MDM (Master Data Manager) Experience working with ETL Tools Database routines (Functions, Stored Procedures, Data load/merge) Experience in Data Warehouse Modeling Concepts like Kimball and Data Vault. Understanding of Data Warehouse Architecture Experience working in a decentralized data environment supporting microservice architecture Cloud-based data pipelines Statistical Analysis Big Data Technologies (NoSQL, Hadoop, Storm, Spark) Responsibilities Data Modeling: Design and implement scalable data models to support various analytical and reporting needs. Data Transformation and Analysis: Transform raw data into actionable insights through data cleansing, normalization, and advanced analytics techniques. Performance Optimization: Optimize query performance and data processing workflows to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality analytical solutions. Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Implement data governance practices and ensure data quality and integrity across all data pipelines and analytical solutions. Technical Documentation and Training: Create technical documentation and provide training to ensure effective use and maintenance of data. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Soft Skills Advanced English level. Open to learning new technologies Great communication skills Clean and maintainable code following best practices. Ability to work and guide younger developers Nice to Have skills Experience in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, R, C#, Java) Experience with Data Testing (e.g., Database Operations (querying), Data Integrity) OLAP Models.
