We are seeking a high-performing Group Manager for Finance & Accounts to centralize and streamline the financial operations of our engineering and manufacturing group. This role is designed for a detail-oriented manager who can balance rigorous accounting oversight with strategic financial planning across multiple company entities.
The Group Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all financial systems are robust, compliant, and aligned with our long-term growth objectives in the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Governance & Auditing: Oversee and audit the financial health of all group entities. Ensure up-to-date accounting and conduct regular internal reviews to maintain institutional integrity.
- Budgeting & Strategic Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process. Provide financial modeling and data-driven insights to support group expansions and capital expenditure projects.
- Compliance & Liaison: Act as the primary interface with external Chartered Accountants (CAs). Manage all statutory compliances, including GST, Income Tax, and regulatory filings.
- Filing Management: Establish and maintain a fail-safe "Compliance Tracker" to ensure all reminders and filings are executed ahead of deadlines.
- Policy & SOP Development: Design, implement, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial workflows and internal controls to standardize operations across all sites.
- Cross-Site Coordination: Travel to various industrial sites and factory units within the group (including Bharuch, Dahej, and Saykha) to align financial practices with ground-level operations.
Candidate Profile
- Education: CA, ICWA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience, ideally within the Engineering, Manufacturing, or EPC sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in ERP systems, Tally, and advanced financial modeling in Excel. Familiarity with industrial tax structures and manufacturing-specific accounting is essential.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage relationships with external consultants and lead internal teams across multiple locations.
- Mobility: Flexibility to work out of our Vadodara or Bharuch offices, with a willingness to travel frequently to group sites.
