CLIENT: Global Engineering PMC undertaking wide portfolio of engineering services especially in Power Transmission & Distribution projects in the Middle East to enhance high-voltage electricity grids. Looking for Electrical Design Engineering Professionals in Power Transmission/Distribution/Substation domains.
Job Purpose:
Ensure that all engineering activities are well within time schedules, budgeted cost,quality and optimization.As a Project Engineering Manager, incumbent will ensure that all the design & engineering activities of the project adhere to quality, cost budgets and timelines. Perform inter-discipline coordination (with Civil, Structural, MEP & Instrumentation) in addition to man-hours allocation of different roles in the project.
Key Drivers:
- Head PEM activities to Lead and manage the team for engineering activities, engineering coordination with customer and consultants.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure adherence to schedule,budgets and keep projects on track for successful completion.
- Extend support for BOQ, review of pre-bid offers and technical submissions & provide post-tender clarifications (after clarification from vendors) to the contracts team
- Lead and manage team of Design Leads, Design Engineers.
- Review Vendor evaluation (w.r.t. technical specification requirement of the client)
- Review of designs, calculations & drawings to ensure their timely submissions after obtaining approvals from customer.
- Provide clarification of issues w.r.t. vendors and ensuring timely delivery of materials at project site and for sorting out issues with respect to design aspects of the equipment
- Produce all specifications, documentation required for procurement.
Incumbent Profile:
- High-impact Lead Electrical Engineer with 15 years expertise in Substation Designing activities, especially for international projects.
- Expertise in both primary engineering & secondary engineering for substation projects and thorough understanding in design aspects of GIS / AIS Substations.
- Proficient in selection of equipment such as Power Transformers, Reactors, Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, Instrument Transformer.
- Well versed in Substation Primary and Secondary Design including Earthing, Lighting, Lightning Protection, Cabling etc, interfaces between Civil, MEP & Instrumentation and Secondary engineering activities like Schemes, Wiring Diagrams, SCADA & Control System
Annual Compensation: 55-60LPA
