Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi for a Group Financial Accountant.
The role involves managing and overseeing accounting and financial operations across multiple group companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and financial reporting requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports
• Group accounting and consolidation across multiple business entities
• Maintenance of ledgers and accounting records
• GST and TDS filing, reconciliation, and statutory compliance
• Coordination with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
• Managing accounts payable, receivable, and financial reconciliations
• Supporting budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning
• Utilizing accounting software and financial tools for accurate reporting and recordkeeping
• Collaborating with internal teams to improve financial controls and operational efficiency
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software and financial systems
• Sound analytical and finance-related skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in GST and TDS filing and compliance
• Experience in handling accounts for multiple companies or group entities will be an advantage
• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with a CA firm
• Relevant professional certifications will be considered an added advantage
