Role Description The Group Business Controller will manage and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring across the group’s entities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kochi and involves preparing consolidated financial reports, supervising accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls. The position includes analyzing variances, supporting cost optimization initiatives, and providing management with clear insights and recommendations to drive profitability and sustainable growth. The Group Business Controller will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives, support audits, and help standardize financial policies and procedures across the group.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with experience in group consolidation and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in management reporting, financial modeling, and performance tracking using relevant tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
- Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory compliance, including coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Experience in cost control, cash flow management, and working capital optimization within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present insights to senior leadership.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple priorities, and operate with integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
