Role Description The Ground Instructor will deliver high-quality theoretical instruction to trainee pilots in accordance with regulatory standards and academy curricula. This full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur involves planning and conducting classroom sessions, preparing lesson plans and training materials, and assessing student performance through tests, quizzes, and progress evaluations. The Ground Instructor will explain core aviation concepts such as aerodynamics, navigation, meteorology, regulations, and aircraft systems in a clear and engaging manner. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate training records, providing constructive feedback to learners, coordinating with flight instructors to align ground and flying training, and supporting students in exam preparation and licensing requirements. The role also involves staying updated on current aviation regulations, safety practices, and industry developments to keep training content relevant and compliant.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of aviation theory, including air regulations, navigation, meteorology, human performance, and aircraft systems.
- Experience in classroom instruction or training, with the ability to design lesson plans and deliver structured, engaging sessions.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, clear language.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate student records and training documentation.
- Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and high training standards in line with DGCA or other relevant authorities.
- Previous experience as a Ground Instructor or Commercial Pilot (CPL) holder is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, science, engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant aviation certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with training staff, support diverse learners, and foster an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
