About the role
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop, maintain and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability and performance
2. Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
3. Identify, document and track defects through tools like JIRA, Trello or similar bug-tracking systems
4. Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test requirements and ensure test coverage
5. Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality
6. Conduct user acceptance testing before the product releases
7. Work on load testing and performance testing using JMeter or similar tools
8. Continuously improve testing processes and explore new testing methodologies
9. Possess 2+ years of experience in manual testing, experience with automation testing a plus
10. Demonstrate strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
11. Write and execute test cases and test scripts proficiently
12. Utilize automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG or similar (preferred)
13. Apply hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured
14. Use bug tracking tools like JIRA, Trello or Asana
15. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills
16. Communicate and collaborate effectively
17. Show perseverance, discipline and ownership
