Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Seeking an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical backend systems that power our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable backend systems and services - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices - Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and apply them to improve our engineering practices - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably with experience in building large-scale, distributed systems - Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Go - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles - Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, message queuing systems, and other backend technologies - Familiarity with containerization and cloud-based infrastructure, such as Docker and Kubernetes - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
