Executive Associate, Oversight and Guidance Division

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is seeking to hire an Executive Associate to support the Oversight and Guidance Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and analytical support to the Division. Key responsibilities include: supporting the management of the division's work program, coordinating internal and external communications, providing analytical inputs to support strategic planning and reporting, and contributing to the development of policies and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and familiarity with climate finance and development. A university degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required. Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of another UN language is an asset.

It was set up by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2010. GCF has a current portfolio of over USD 30 billion, and its mission is to promote the paradigm shift towards low-emission and climate-resilient development pathways in the context of sustainable development.
