Role Overview
We are seeking a Green Building Facilitator with 1–3 years of relevant experience in green building consultancy and sustainability coordination. The candidate will support the delivery of green building certifications like IGBC/ GRIHA/ LEED/ EDGE by coordinating with project stakeholders and managing documentation throughout the certification lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the project team in green building certification processes (IGBC/GRIHA/LEED/EDGE, etc.) from registration to certification.
- Conduct energy, water, and material efficiency analyses for building projects.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, calculations, and compliance reports for rating systems.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, and clients to integrate sustainability strategies into the design process.
- Perform simulation-based analyses (e.g., daylight, thermal comfort, energy modelling) as required.
- Assist in conducting site assessments and sustainability audits.
- Stay updated on evolving green building codes, sustainability standards and technologies.
- Conduct site visits and collect required on-site evidence
- Maintain project trackers, timelines, and compliance records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Building Science, or related fields.
- 0–2 years of experience in sustainability or green building consulting (freshers with relevant knowledge are welcome).
- Knowledge of IGBC, LEED, and GRIHA rating systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Design Builder, Climate Consultant, or similar.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Passion for sustainability and a proactive learning attitude.
Preferred Skills
• IGBC AP / GRIHA CP / LEED GA or AP accreditation
• Experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, or institutional projects
• Strong documentation and coordination abilities
