About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Assistat Catering Manager in our internal restaurant base in Sea Containers. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the internal restaurant and providing excellent service to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about food service and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting staff members on the day to day run of the restaurant
  • Serving customers in a busy environment
  • Responsibilities include orders, training of the new staff, supporting the restaurant manager with stock count, leadership and sales and promotions.
  • Ensuring exceptional presentation and service of food items and beverages at all times
  • To promote first-rate customer relations in a professional manner taking personal responsibility for delivering excellence
  • Provide and maintain an efficient service under all areas of your control, following company values, policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the canteen area
  • Follow food safety procedures and guidelines

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a background with retail or contract catering
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new tasks.
  • Be driven by excellence and attention to detail with a flair for presentation
  • Be naturally outgoing and energetic with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Demonstrate confidence with a 'Can do' attitude
