QA Engineer (Remote)

Our platform is growing fast, and we're looking for a QA Engineer to bring structure and consistency to our product quality. You'll be our first dedicated QA hire — laying down solid processes, building a strong testing culture, and ensuring everything we ship is reliable and delightful. What You'll Do Set up and own end-to-end QA processes, including manual, regression, and automation testing. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deeply understand feature requirements and translate them into clear, comprehensive test cases. Write, maintain, and execute manual test cases across the app to catch bugs early and improve overall quality. Design and maintain regression test suites covering core user flows. Perform API-level testing using tools like Postman or Swagger. Develop automation scripts for common and repetitive test cases (e.g. using Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks). Drive a quality-first mindset throughout the development cycle and advocate for best practices in testing. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in fast-paced tech environments. Experience designing test plans, writing detailed test cases, and performing hands-on manual testing. Familiarity with API testing, including crafting test cases for different response scenarios. Strong grasp of regression testing, edge case thinking, and debugging techniques. Ability to build or contribute to automation frameworks. Clear and concise communication skills — you can work well with engineers and product managers to resolve issues quickly. Strong ownership — you're comfortable being the go-to person for all things QA. Nice to Have Background in Computer Science or Software Engineering. Hands-on experience in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment flows.
