Role Description The Graphics & Motion Graphics Faculty will deliver classroom and lab-based training in graphic design, motion graphics, and related digital media tools as a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. Responsibilities include planning and conducting engaging sessions, demonstrating software workflows, guiding students through assignments and projects, and assessing performance through tests, reviews, and portfolio evaluations. The faculty member will create and update lesson plans, course materials, and project briefs aligned with industry standards and Arena Animation’s curriculum. The role also involves mentoring students on design fundamentals, storytelling, and visual communication, as well as providing constructive feedback to help them improve their technical and creative skills. Additional tasks may include coordinating with the academic team, participating in workshops and events, and staying current with trends in graphics, motion design, and related technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Graphic Design and Motion Graphics tools and techniques, with the ability to demonstrate concepts in a classroom and lab environment.
- Solid skills in Graphics and visual design, including layout, typography, color theory, and branding principles.
- Experience with Video Production workflows, such as editing, compositing, basic sound syncing, and export for various platforms.
- Ability to create and teach Storyboarding for motion projects, including visual storytelling, shot planning, and timing.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in design, animation, or media preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent tools).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to learners at different skill levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams, manage classroom dynamics, and support diverse learners.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant graphics, motion graphics, and/or video work is required.
