Role Description
This is a contract-based, on-site role for a Graphics Designer, based in India. The Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating visual concepts, working on design projects across various mediums, and collaborating with stakeholders to produce compelling designs. The day-to-day tasks include designing layouts, working on graphic illustrations for academic and promotional purposes, and ensuring alignment with CUSAT's cultural and visual identity. The role will also involve reviewing and refining designs for impactful communication.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design software.
- Skills in digital and print design, branding, and visual storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to coordinate with teams to understand project requirements and deliver on time.
- Experience in animation or motion graphics is a plus.
- Working knowledge of the academic environment, research communication, or science promotion is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related field.
