Role Objective
Design compelling brand graphics and develop original prints for Ecoright’s product lines, while ensuring all artwork is technically production-ready — especially for screen printing.
This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, surface design, and manufacturing execution. You will not only design visuals, but also prepare them for real-world production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic Design (Brand & Marketing)
- Create digital and print-ready graphics for website, social media, email, packaging, and campaigns.
- Design product graphics (typography, placement prints, statement visuals, limited drops).
- Maintain visual consistency across touchpoints in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with Content, Performance, and Brand teams on campaign visuals.
2. Print & Surface Design
- Develop original prints for bags, accessories, and apparel (all-over prints, placement prints, repeat patterns).
- Build seamless repeats and colorways aligned with seasonal or thematic drops.
- Translate moodboards and brand narratives into production-ready surface designs.
- Adapt prints across different product formats and dimensions.
3. Screen Printing & Production Readiness (Critical)
- Prepare artwork files for screen printing.
- Separate colors correctly for screen production.
- Create and output screen-ready files (vector artwork, spot colors, correct resolution).
- Understand mesh count, color layers, trapping, and registration basics.
- Coordinate with printers to ensure output accuracy.
- Troubleshoot print issues in collaboration with vendors.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand and Product teams to align design intent with feasibility.
- Support sampling and pre-production stages with necessary artwork adjustments.
- Maintain organized design archives and editable source files.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- 2–4 years experience in graphic design for fashion, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
- Strong portfolio showcasing both:
- Brand graphics
- Surface/print design work
- Hands-on experience preparing files for screen printing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of vector artwork and color separation.
- Ability to balance creativity with production constraints.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working with sustainable or conscious brands.
- Understanding of fabric behavior and print scaling.
- Experience with embroidery or alternative print techniques.
- Exposure to packaging and merchandising design.
