Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Graphic Designer Prepress role based in our Factory Prepress at Neemrana, Rajasthan. The Graphic Designer Prepress is responsible for translating design concepts into print-ready artwork for cartons, boxes, displays, and other packaging materials. Daily activities include preparing and adapting artwork files, performing preflight checks, ensuring color accuracy, and aligning designs with printing and finishing specifications. The role involves collaborating closely with design, reprographics, production, and sales teams to meet client branding requirements, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of projects. The designer will also help troubleshoot print-related issues, optimize layouts for different substrates and processes, and maintain a consistent visual standard across products.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in print design, with experience creating artwork for packaging, cartons, and displays.
- Hands-on expertise in pre-press processes and preflight checks to ensure files are accurate and print-ready.
- Knowledge of print production workflows, including printing methods, substrates, inks, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to collaborate with printing teams and understand press requirements to optimize design for production.
- Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design and prepress software (e.g., Esko Artpro Plus, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
- Proficiency in Color Management knowledge (ISO) shall be considered as additional skills and shall be rewarded accordingly.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Printing Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in packaging or corrugated print environments is an advantage; familiarity with color management and proofing is beneficial.
