We are seeking a versatile and visually creative Graphic Designer with 2+ years of full-time industry experience to join our fast-paced media and communications group.
In this role, you will play a central part in elevating our media campaigns, corporate publications, brand identity assets, press materials, and digital collateral. You will turn high-level campaign strategies and editorial briefs into impactful visual stories across print and digital platforms.
Mandatory Requirements: High proficiency in Adobe InDesign (for multi-page editorial design, press kits, and publications) and Adobe Illustrator (for brand identities, vector illustrations, and infographics).
Key Responsibilities- Editorial & Publication Design (Adobe InDesign):
- Design multi-page editorial layouts, press kits, media advisories, corporate whitepapers, lookbooks, and brand guidelines.
- Utilize master pages, grid systems, and typography styles in InDesign to produce sleek, publication-ready collateral.
- Prepare print-ready files with exact bleed, crop, color (CMYK), and preflight specifications for high-end printing.
- Vector Artwork & Branding Assets (Adobe Illustrator):
- Create custom vector graphics, brand identity packages, logomarks, infographics, iconography, and event display artwork.
- Ensure consistent visual standards across all brand touchpoints, sub-brands, and client assets.
- Digital Media & Campaign Creatives:
- Produce high-impact social media assets, digital ad units, email headers, and website promotional banners.
- Design presentation decks (PowerPoint/Keynote) for pitch meetings, strategic proposals, and media launches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with media strategists, PR specialists, content leads, and campaign managers to conceptualize visual assets.
- Adapt creative concepts to meet tight media and publication production deadlines while incorporating client feedback.
Mandatory Technical Skills & Requirements- Software Expertise:
- Adobe InDesign (Compulsory / Advanced): Master-level capability in multi-page publishing, paragraph/character styles, grid systems, and print preparation.
- Adobe Illustrator (Compulsory / Advanced): Expert control of vector tools, pen tool accuracy, pathfinder, artboards, typography, and color palettes.
- Adobe Photoshop: Solid proficiency for image editing, color correction, photo retouches, and composite mockups.
- Design Competencies:
- Exceptional understanding of layout design, visual hierarchy, typography, and spatial balance.
- Practical knowledge of print production processes, paper stock selection, resolution management (300 DPI vs 72 DPI), and color spaces.
- High precision and attention to detail regarding alignment, spacing, kerning, and file organization.
- Professional Attributes:
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced media environment with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times.
- Strong communication skills to present visual ideas clearly to internal and external teams.
Qualifications & Prerequisites- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a media agency, PR firm, publishing house, or creative agency.
- Portfolio (Mandatory): A strong online portfolio featuring multi-page publication layouts built in Adobe InDesign and vector designs/branding work built in Adobe Illustrator.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
