Job details:
UI/UX Designer/Graphic Designer/User Experience Designer
Unattached · Founding team · Pre-launch
Location: Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 58, Gurugram, Haryana 122011. On-site. Compensation: ₹4,80,000 to ₹10,20,000 per annum, plus founding equity. Where you land in that range depends on how you interview and the level we assess you at.
The role
Unattached is a booking platform for editorial fashion. Talent and brands both carry a UA Index earned from completed work. Every brief is scored for fit and published with fee, usage rights and exclusivity upfront.
We serve an industry that judges everything on how it looks. A model who shoots for Vogue Scandinavia will open this app and decide in four seconds whether we're serious. That judgement is your job to win.
Early screens exist. They're a direction, not an answer. You're here to take them further than we could.
What you'll own
The product surface. Every screen a model, a brand or an agency touches. Onboarding, profiles, the brief, the inquiry, the negotiation. The whole flow, not a queue of tickets.
The hard screens. A brief carries fee, shoot window, usage rights, exclusivity and a closing date, and none of it can feel like a contract. A UA Index has to read as earned, not gamified. This is where the design problem actually lives.
The system. Type, colour, spacing, motion, components. Built to survive fifty more screens and a second designer, not just to look right in a mockup.
The brand in application. Identity across the site, the deck, the socials, the launch. Working alongside brand and product, not downstream of them.
The taste line. You'll be the person who says something isn't good enough yet. Including when it's ours.
What we're looking for
Two to six years in product design, digital design or brand, with a portfolio that shows judgment and not just output. Fashion, editorial, luxury or culture work is a real advantage. So is an eye trained somewhere else entirely, if it's a good one.
Fluent in Figma. Comfortable owning a flow end to end, from the messy first pass to the spec a developer can build without asking twice.
You should care about typography the way some people care about music.
And you should be able to design for two audiences at once. Talent needs the app to feel like a place they'd want to be seen. Brands need it to feel like a tool that works. Both, on the same screen.
The honest bit
We're pre-launch. The salary is real and it's paid, but it sits below what an established company would offer at this level, and possibility of equity and early salary increments make up the difference. Weeks will be intense and priorities will shift as we learn what the market wants. You'll design things that get cut, and you'll be asked to do brand work on a Tuesday and a user flow on a Wednesday. If you need a settled roadmap and a defined lane, this isn't the right stage for you. If the unfinished part is the appealing part, it is.
How to apply
In addition to the 'easy apply' option on LinkedIn, feel free to send us the following:
- Your portfolio. Two or three pieces you'd defend in a room, over twenty you wouldn't.
- One screen from any app you use, and what you'd change about it.
- One paragraph: how good are you at living up to minimal guidance and maximum expectations?
No cover letter. The third answer is the cover letter.
