About Our Organization:
The Diabesties Foundation (TDF) is a non-profit pioneering Type 1 Diabetes care since 2018. Through various projects, we address health inequities by promoting access to insulin, education, and support - working with diverse stakeholders to drive sustainable, inclusive healthcare impact.
Role Overview
As a Graphic Designer at The Diabesties Foundation, you will work closely with the Founder’s Office and core teams to translate ideas, stories, and community insights into compelling visual narratives. Your work will play a key role in shaping how our mission reaches and resonates with diverse audiences, including people living with Type 1 Diabetes, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform concepts and ideas into powerful visual designs for presentations, reports, educational resources, and campaigns.
- Design engaging content for digital platforms, including social media creatives, infographics, banners, and emailers.
- Create visual assets for community initiatives, events, and awareness campaigns.
- Develop and maintain design templates to ensure consistency across all communication materials.
- Collaborate closely with the content, education, and communications teams to align visuals with messaging and tone.
- Tell impactful stories through illustration, layout design, and (optionally) motion graphics.
- Design with empathy, keeping in mind the needs of a purpose-driven and health-focused community.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and print work.
- Ability to communicate ideas visually with clarity and creativity.
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design, especially in healthcare or social impact contexts (preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
