We're Hiring: Visual Communication Designer
SUGRII is an Indian women's wear label built on handcrafted textiles and artisan craft traditions. We work closely with weaving and embroidery communities across India to create clothing that is deliberate, slow, and deeply rooted in material culture.
We're looking for a Visual Communication Designer who brings a strong visual sensibility and genuinely cares about craft, sustainability, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Design & Production
- Design graphics, layouts, and illustrations for social media, website, campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Translate SUGRII's craft narratives into visuals that connect with our audience - both in India and internationally.
- Maintain design consistency across all touchpoints while bringing fresh, considered creative approaches to each project.
Video Editing & Visual Storytelling
- Edit raw footage into polished content for social media, lookbooks, artisan films, and seasonal campaigns.
- Handle colour grading, transitions, sound design, and pacing for both short-form and long-form formats.
- Bring SUGRII's artisan stories, collection launches, and behind-the-scenes moments to life through video.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a strong design eye and a genuine interest in craft, textiles, and slow fashion.
- Is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite : Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects.
- Understands the visual language of handmade, natural, and artisan-led products.
- Can work closely with the brand team to understand the mood and intent behind each campaign.
- Is comfortable in a start-up environment : adaptable, proactive, and eager to grow..
