Thick & Thin Media is a full-suite event marketing agency that lives and breathes events, experiences, and culture. We build immersive festivals, exhibitions, and live properties that people remember, including Van Gogh: An Immersive Story, Indian Sneaker Festival, and several major cultural and lifestyle events across India. Our focus is on creating memorable experiences that resonate with diverse audiences by blending innovative design, cultural insights, and strategic event execution. With a dedicated team of creative professionals, we aim to set new standards in the event industry by delivering high-impact, culturally relevant, and visually compelling experiences that leave a lasting impression.
About The Role
We're seeking a culturally-aware Graphic Designer who understands the visual language of events, music, and culture. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually striking graphics that enhance live experiences and elevate our brand presence across various platforms. You will work closely with our creative team to design stage visuals, event collateral, sponsor-compliant creatives, and social media content that captures the energy and atmosphere of our festivals and experiential IPs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of cultural nuances, and the ability to translate the vibrancy of live events into compelling visual narratives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of India's most innovative and high-profile cultural events, shaping the visual identity that connects audiences with the experiences we craft.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess proven experience designing for events, festivals, live culture, or brand campaigns. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) is essential, along with a strong understanding of brand identity and experience working within sponsor or client brand guidelines. A sharp eye for typography, composition, and visual aesthetics, especially within the music, culture, and lifestyle sectors, is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards. A portfolio showcasing strong visual design work, particularly in event, artist, or brand-related projects, is highly preferred. Additionally, familiarity with social media graphics and digital content creation will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design high-impact visuals for live events, festivals, and experiential IPs featuring top Indian and global artists, including posters, key art, stage graphics, and on-ground collateral.
- Work within brand and sponsor guidelines to ensure all creatives meet visual identity, logo placement, and tonality requirements.
- Produce platform-ready graphics for social media, event promotions, announcements, and post-event content.
- Translate the atmosphere, energy, and emotion of live experiences into design that resonates with target audiences.
- Manage multiple event briefs under tight event-driven deadlines without compromising quality.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with full flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from anywhere.
- Opportunity to work on high-profile cultural events and IPs alongside top Indian and global artists, gaining valuable industry experience.
- Join a dynamic, relaxed team environment that encourages creative ownership and innovation.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development through exposure to diverse cultural projects.
