About The Role
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer with a keen eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality visual content across digital and print platforms. This is a full-time, execution-oriented creative position that offers ample opportunities for professional growth into areas such as brand storytelling, creative strategy, and design leadership. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Account Managers, Content Writers, and other Designers to develop compelling visual assets that align with client objectives while maintaining consistent brand identity.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, gained within a fast-paced agency, startup, or freelance environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating work across both digital and print mediums is essential. Candidates should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. A solid understanding of colour theory, typography, layout principles, and responsive design is required. Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Fine Arts, or related fields. Additional certifications in motion graphics, animation, or UI/UX design will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Creative Execution
- Conceptualize and design visually appealing assets for various digital platforms such as social media posts, reels, shorts, web banners, emailers, pitch decks, and advertisements.
- Create print-ready collateral including brochures, flyers, event materials, and internal branding documents.
- Participate in the entire design process for campaigns, from brainstorming and layout planning to final delivery.
- Assist in developing brand guidelines, mood boards, and creative references for both clients and internal teams.
- Collaboration and Consistency
- Work closely with Account Managers and Content teams to understand project briefs and design requirements.
- Ensure visual consistency across all platforms, maintaining the look, tone, and brand identity.
- Manage multiple design requests efficiently within established timelines, delivering high-quality, brand-compliant outputs.
- Participate in internal review cycles, incorporating feedback and making necessary edits without compromising on quality.
- Innovation and Quality
- Stay updated on current design trends, platform-specific formats (notably Instagram and LinkedIn), and evolving aesthetic sensibilities.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and campaign ideation to bring innovative ideas to life.
- Help elevate Wordswork’s design standards by introducing fresh, relevant, and impactful visual concepts.
