About The Role
We are seeking a talented and innovative Educational Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at NatureNurture. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity of our curriculum materials, ensuring they are both engaging and pedagogically effective. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of educational content, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, attractive visual formats. As part of our creative team, you will collaborate closely with curriculum developers, educators, and content experts to produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts that enhance the learning experience for students across India.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Proven experience in educational or instructional design is preferred, along with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating engaging visual content. Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. A good understanding of educational principles, visual storytelling, and user-centered design will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are key qualities for this role. Prior experience working with curriculum development or in an educational setting will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create visually appealing and educationally sound graphics, illustrations, and layouts for curriculum materials. Develop infographics, diagrams, and other visual aids to enhance learning and comprehension.
- Collaboration: Work closely with curriculum developers, educators, and content experts to understand design requirements and educational objectives. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for visual content.
- Consistency and Quality: Ensure all designs adhere to NatureNurture's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity. Review and refine designs based on stakeholder feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Technology and Tools: Utilize graphic design software and tools to produce high-quality graphics. Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to keep curriculum materials fresh and engaging.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all design assets. Maintain an organized workflow and adhere to project deadlines.
- Innovation: Introduce new design concepts and elements regularly to keep materials innovative and engaging. Update templates and resources based on current design trends.
- Feedback and Improvement: Participate in design review sessions, incorporate feedback effectively, and continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
