About The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling. In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging visual content that enhances the university’s brand identity across multiple platforms. You will work closely with marketing, communications, and academic departments to produce compelling digital and print materials that resonate with our target audience. Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CoralUI, is essential. A strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and branding principles is required. Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or UI/UX design will be considered an advantage. Candidates must demonstrate a robust portfolio showcasing their creative abilities and high-quality work. Familiarity with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, along with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress, is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly are vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and developing visual assets for a variety of marketing channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, brochures, and presentations. You will design layouts, graphics, and illustrations that align with brand guidelines and project objectives. Collaborating with marketing and content teams, you will conceptualize and execute innovative design strategies to enhance brand visibility. Staying updated on the latest design trends, industry standards, and emerging technologies will be crucial to maintaining a competitive edge. You will also be tasked with editing and refining images, videos, and multimedia elements to ensure high quality and engagement. Ensuring that all designs are optimized for web and print, considering responsiveness and usability, is essential. The role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and coordinating with external vendors such as printers and developers to ensure the seamless production of final designs.
