BAFT Technology is a Bangalore-based AI-powered fintech startup built for India’s Gen Z, a generation that lives, spends, and moves money on their phones. We’re building a brand that feels as bold and alive as our users, and we need a designer who can help us do that.
About the role
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to own the visual output of BAFT’s brand across digital, social, and product surfaces. This is a creative-first role, so you’ll be involved from concept to final delivery, working closely with the founding team and marketing lead. If you care deeply about typography, colour, and craft, and want your work to reach millions of users, this is your seat.
What you’ll do
Brand and visual identity
- Create on-brand visual assets across social media, campaigns, and marketing collateral
- Maintain and evolve BAFT’s visual identity, colours, typography, iconography, and layout systems
- Design templates for recurring content formats (reels covers, carousels, stories, ads)
- Ensure visual consistency across every customer-facing touchpoint
Digital and social design
- Design high-quality creatives for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social platforms
- Create assets for performance marketing campaigns — banners, display ads, landing page visuals
- Collaborate with the content team to bring copy to life through strong visual storytelling
- Adapt brand assets for India-specific cultural moments and campaigns
Product and UI support
- Assist in designing UI screens and components for the BAFT app (in collaboration with the product team)
- Create in-app illustrations, onboarding visuals, and empty state graphics
- Support the design of pitch decks, investor materials, and internal documents
Operations
- Manage and organise the brand asset library
- Work within briefs and deadlines while maintaining high design quality
- Iterate quickly based on feedback from the founding and marketing team
What we’re looking for
Must-have
- 1–3 years of graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio of digital work
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc
- Solid understanding of design fundamentals: typography, colour theory, grid systems, hierarchy
- Experience designing for social media and digital marketing formats
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple briefs simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a high bar for craft
Nice to have
- Experience with Figma — especially for UI/UX collaboration and component-based design
- Familiarity with motion design or basic animation (After Effects, Lottie)
- Understanding of fintech, payments, or consumer app design
- Experience designing for a startup or fast-moving brand environment
