About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Tatva Hills Super Foods. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with production, procurement, and R&D teams to monitor, evaluate, and improve product quality, safety, and consistency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food quality, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food quality assurance or a similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP.
- Strong understanding of laboratory testing methods and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and quality management software.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure product safety and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities and processes.
- Oversee laboratory testing procedures and analyze test results to identify deviations or issues.
- Collaborate with procurement to evaluate raw materials and ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory standards and prepare documentation for compliance audits.
- Investigate customer complaints and product recalls, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Train staff on quality standards, safety procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of quality metrics, inspection reports, and audit findings.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging regulations related to food safety and quality.
