Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing graphics for various platforms, including social media posts, cover pictures, infographics, logos, and icons using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Edit video footage to produce engaging content that meets project objectives and aligns with brand standards.
- Review raw footage to determine the shot list and develop a coherent narrative for video projects.
- Maintain creative standards across all design projects and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams and brands to understand design and video requirements and objectives.
- Source innovative materials for design and stay updated with the latest design and video editing trends.
- Utilize modern editing techniques to manipulate film and video footage, ensuring continuity and logical sequencing.
- Trim footage, compile rough cuts for review, and insert dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects as needed.
- Consult with the team and production staff throughout projects to ensure alignment on creative vision.
Qualifications:
- Strong creative skills with a portfolio showcasing a passion for illustrative design, typography, and video production.
- Excellent understanding of social media and its graphic/video requirements.
- A creative thought process with the ability to visualize and execute designs and edits under tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and a team player attitude.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of narrative and pacing in video projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design and video editing, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Passion for graphic design, sketching, digital illustration, and video production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to different design styles and video formats.
- Working knowledge of the latest AI tools for image and video generation.
