Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graphic Designer based in Bhubaneswar.
The selected candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling graphics, branding materials, and digital assets aligned with maritime education and global outreach initiatives. The role involves working closely with university teams to develop content that reflects the institution’s vision, standards, and global positioning.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Designing high-quality graphics, logos, and branding materials
- Enhancing visual identity across digital platforms and campaigns
- Applying strong typography and layout design principles
- Conceptualising and executing innovative and impactful designs
- Ensuring timely delivery of all creative assignments
- Collaborating with academic and marketing teams for content alignment
Qualifications & Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Graphic Design and visual communication tools
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Logo Design and Branding
- Typography and layout design
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (preferred)
- Experience with educational institutions or maritime sector is an advantage
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and visual storytelling techniques
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative, professional, and campaign-based workTechnical
Tools (Expected)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Canva (Advanced)
- Figma / Adobe XD (Preferred)
- Premiere Pro / After Effects (Added Advantage)
