As a Graphic Design Intern, you'll support the creative team in producing engaging visual content for social media and digital marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, a willingness to learn, and a passion for creating impactful content.
Responsibilities:
- Design high-quality social media posts, carousels, stories, reels covers, and ad creatives.
- Assist in creating branding assets and marketing materials.
- Handle day-to-day management of social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Schedule and publish content according to the content calendar.
- Write or assist with basic captions, hashtags, and post formatting.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement, escalating queries when required.
- Coordinate with the content and marketing teams to execute campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual and written content.
- Edit and optimize creatives based on feedback.
- Organize design files and maintain creative assets.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and viral content ideas.
- Assist in preparing monthly content plans and campaign creatives.
- Track basic social media performance metrics and share insights with the team.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva (Figma is a plus).
- Understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
- Good sense of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and willingness to learn.
- Portfolio showcasing personal, academic, or freelance design work.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with AI design tools.
- Understanding of branding and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of Meta Business Suite or social media scheduling tools.
